I came across the ocean...

I came across the ocean... I recently picked up a flyer detailing a university degree in Migration Law.  Given the diversity of our demographic make up in Australia, this would certainly be an area of growth and future job opportunity.  I allowed my mind to consider what it would be like to study again (part time of course)But, with the benefit of thinking over it for a few days, I realised there are simply not enough hours in the day.  I have the same number of hours as everyone else and am pretty happy with the choices and priorities I make.  A wise friend keeps reminding me that this a busy season of life, so I remembered 2 scriptures and looked them up.  They bring me great comfort. 

1 Timothy 6:6-7

 ⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain. ⁷ For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

Lamentations 3:22-24

 ²² Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
   for his compassions never fail.
²³ They are new every morning;
   great is your faithfulness.
²⁴ I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
   therefore I will wait for him.”
